Dancers converge on Des Moines for swing competition

Dance your heart out.

That was the mission for dancers from all over the U.S. who traveled to Des Moines this past weekend to compete in nine dance divisions as part of the Collegiate Jitterbug Championships.

Three dances were also open to the public in conjunction with the competition as part of the Heartland Swing Festival. Those dances took place at the Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines.
