The Old Navy at Jordan Creek Town Center has reopened following an alleged racial profiling incident between a customer and the clothing store's employees.

Old Navy, located at 6805 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, had signs on its front doors Wednesday saying that the store was temporarily closed.

James Conley III shared a Facebook post on his personal Facebook page Tuesday evening sharing details about the incident. The store was temporarily closed Wednesday and reopened on Thursday.

The post, as of 10 a.m. Thursday, has more than 110,000 shares and 72,000 interactions. The post says: "I was accused that I didn't pay for my blue bubble jacket that I got for Christmas that I wore into the store.

"As I was checking out to purchase some hoodies, I was asked if I wanted to also purchase the jacket that I was wearing." That prompted Conley to laugh in disbelief, the post says.

A manager on duty greeted a Des Moines Register reporter when arriving at 10 a.m. Thursday to the store, located at 6805 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines. The manager declined to comment about the incident.

The manager reiterated the statement made by Old Navy officials Wednesday that Gap Inc. and all of its brands maintains a "zero means zero" policy and that an investigation of the incident is underway.
