Vehicle strikes Des Moines home early Friday morning

A sport utility vehicle crashed into a Des Moines home early Friday morning, causing thousands of dollars in damages, said Sgt. Paul Parizek, spokesperson for the Des Moines Police Department.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. at the 2900 block of East Grand Avenue. No injuries were reported. The driver ran off, so no arrests have been made. Investigators are following up on the case, Parizek said.
