Presidential hopeful, Carly Fiorina gets ready to speak at the Des Moines Register's Political Soapbox on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Iowa State Fair.

Carly Fiorina netted 23 new endorsements Tuesday, including three Iowa state representatives and one state senator, according to super PAC officials.

The former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and GOP candidate for president received nods from state Rep. Clel Baudler of Greenfield, state Rep. Josh Byrnes of Osage, state Rep. Lee Hein of Monticello and state Sen. David Johnson of Ocheyedan. Most of the officials noted Fiorina's business acumen as a reason for their support in a statement released by Carly for America, a pro-Fiorina super PAC.

“After studying all of the candidates, I have come to the conclusion that Carly is absolutely the best person to lead our nation in the right direction," Baudler said in the statement. "I believe with her business experience, her ability to communicate, and her fearlessness to take on the tough challenges we face today, she has demonstrated that she is qualified."

Rep. Byrnes also touted her status as a political outsider: “I support Carly because I am tired of career politicians getting elected and getting nothing done in DC. It's time for a different resume to be elected as the next Commander in Chief."
