Vanden Berg joins Strategic Elements

Jessica Vanden Berg, a longtime Democratic political operative, has joined in a bipartisan venture with Strategic Elements of West Des Moines and its principals, John and Christine Stineman.

Strategic Elements provides issue advocacy, communications, public policy, business development and marketing services nationwide, according to company officials. John Stineman said in a prepared statement that the venture with Vanden Berg will break through "partisan gridlock" to create viewpoints and solutions that will help clients.

Vanden Berg has served as a chief of staff in the U.S. House of Representatives and as a senior adviser in the U.S. Senate, and has worked on many political campaigns, for advocacy efforts, and for corporate clients. She also serves as a member of the American Council on Germany and as a partner with the Truman National Security Project.
